Changing the World - Catalogue Print E-mail

/

Changing the World One Thread at a Time contains the 81 creations of 40 artists from various states of America and a few international entries too. The only way I could get all the information together at one place was by using a catalogue with details about all the artworks in it. This catalogue is a gift from me to the artists and will serve as a synopsis of the exhibition.

The catalogue is made available for everyone in digital form that be downloaded from one of the links below. Depending on the bandwidth of your internet connection you may choose to download the high-speed version or a smaller one. The downloadable versions can also be printed on a regular 3 color (RGB) printer (except the * version, which is good enough only for screen viewing). If someone is interested in getting prints from a professional printing press, please contact me for a full resolution, 4 color print version of the document.

By downloading this catalogue you affirm that you accept the following licensing conditions:

This license gives the right of one(1) copy either print OR electronic for any artist, library, instituition, collector, appraiser, or other person.

The license recognises and honors the copyright of all artists, the curator, the designer and the art center. Should an individual, company, organisation or a corporation wish to make more than one(1) copy, a separate license must be negotiated with This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Libraries are granted the right of a useable archival copy.

The curator thelmasmith has created the catalogue as a gift, not only to herself but to every artist. While every care has been taken to represent the work carefully and color correctly, without the work at hand no guarantees can be made. No representations of correctness are made because every display and every computer and printer have varying calibrations for color.

Below are different versions of the catalogue. You can download one depending on your bandwidth and/or choice. You will need a pdf document viewer to view the catalogue e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader . Please remember that these versions are good for only screen viewing or 3 color RGB printers. For four color CMYK printing contact me via email.

Edit: We made a booboo and didn't catch an error in the pages in price list section of the catalog. The links above give you the updated catalog versions of various sizes. We have also provided the price list pages separately for users convenience so that they don't have to download the full catalog again. Download the price list here .

"Spider" the catalogue designer, who is also spinning the web for thelmasmith.com , and I worked for seven weeks putting the catalogue together. Lots of late nights and growls at software that growled back. I owe "Spider" a debt of honor and so I will be thankful if you donate generously towards a goal of $900.00.

Many thanks go to the Tucson Pima Arts Council ; they have approved and encouraged this project with a small grant. We are actively seeking matching funds for that grant to cover the many hours the webmaster has put into designing and publishing this catalogue for all of us. All funds go to the catalogue designer and a cummulative total will be updated on this page and updated daily.

This catalogue is offered at no charge. The only “string” attached is my request that you do your best to spread the information by link to as many libraries and schools of all levels. Collectors and both estate and fine arts appraisers should know about this, too.

Donate via or contact me to donate with a check or money orders.

Contributions till now: $755.00 / $900.00 - 83% done
