Just behind that is Mount Hopkins where the Smithsonian's Whipple Observatory is. Then to the right before you get to the sahuaro is Elephant Head. These are the Santa Rita Mountains which border the east side of the Santa Cruz River Valley in Pima County, Arizona. Also, the Harris Hawk, in the sahuaro is about the size of your fist on the quilt. It took twenty one separate pieces of fabric just for the hawk.
