Call to Artist – Durango, Colorado- Deadline: June 30th

The project is open to all artists who reside in the Four Corners states. This includes New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. The budget is $20,000. The artist selected to create an original work of art will be responsible for creating and installing the final artwork as contracted with the City of Durango. An existing piece of artwork may be proposed as long as it is appropriate to the site and meets all of the specified guidelines. The City of Durango shall retain exclusive rights to create photo reproductions of the final art for print material as necessary for promotional and/or educational purposes. Application deadline: June 30, 2008. The postmark deadline for this project is June 30, 2008. Applications must be postmarked or received by 4:30 p.m. MST. Late applications will not be considered. Call to Artist - Campbell, CA - Deadline May 29th

National Native Creative Development Program - Deadline: June 1

There is still time to turn in a letter of inquiry to be considered for National Native Creative Development Program for individual artists and the National Native Master Artist Initiative grant programs. Qualifying artists will be asked to complete a full application but only if you submit the letter of inquiry outlining your project first. These programs are open to all US Native people who are enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe, village, or state recognized tribe or village as well as to Native Hawaiian artists.
