The Public Art Program of the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture invites Arizona painters, printmakers, quilters, illustrators, and other artists specializing in two-dimensional design to expand their vision into terrazzo floors. No experience with terrazzo or public art is required. The ability to produce vital new expressions that can be translated into an enduring medium is the only requirement. Seeking top-notch talent with the potential to contribute significantly to the beauty of public spaces. Selected artists will become the talent pool for future terrazzo projects at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and other city sites. Application deadline 5pm MST March 28.
